I just finished getting my grade from my first course, and boy I was so grateful I passed by 4 points! Just as we are now officially in Autumn and seasons change, plans change as well. The Lord allows us to take a step back and take a good look around us to see that we are on the right path. Our Father in Heaven is such a good God that He at times allows us to see what we thought was a good thing for us, as a “not really”, by allowing us to experience first hand the things we asked for. For example, I thought I was supposed to someday complete my doctoral degree, a great idea, right? Wrong!
God had to allow me to get back into the university to see how crazy I was just thinking about it. First of all, the online piece was the worst I had ever taken. Very cold course, with no motivation to continue on. Second, all we did was write as “busy work” instead of writing to learn. Thirdly, I had to stretch myself out so thin, I almost fell into depression due to lack of sleep, eating, and no social interaction. To be honest, had it not been for the Lord, I would have not made it. All the stress of opening up a new business, renovating the place, and school just took its toll. After all, the Lord is a God of mercy and grace. I feel that He allowed me to go through it so I can finally believe, I didn’t need it. If I could get all my assignments done on time, and still do everything I needed to, I was OK.
I have said all this to say, don’t place yourself in so much stuff that later you regret it. I know we can’t be in regrets but the truth is, we get ourselves in sticky situations, and then wonder why we are in the sticky situation we are in. I hope this makes sense to someone out there because I sure know I’m never going back to school. God taught me a good lesson, and that is, not all open doors are meant for us to walk through. So far, so good, but I know the next time I might stumble and fall.
If this is you today, and you’re in a bad place you yourself have put you in, my advice to you is to stick with it and finish whatever it is. Even if you fail at it, at least you can learn a lesson from it, that in itself can be a positive thing, no matter the outcome. May the Lord give you wisdom and understanding, and may you learn where your limitations lay so that in the future, you can choose your activities or relationships more wisely that now.

It seems like it has been forever that I was charged with creating a school of the Prophets by the Lord. I want to say more than 20 years ago. Those of us that walk in the prophetic have had to learn that not all prophecies are fulfilled immediately. Some are quicker than others, but there are certain ones that don’t come into fruition until years later. This is my case with our SOS starting this Sunday October 4th.
Since I was a child, I see angels, demons or have had dreams of things to come. The world knows these things in their terms as “Psychic” that comes from the Ancient Greek name “Psyche”. You can read more by reading here. However, we that are born again in Christ Jesus, do not go about in soulish feelings in order to understand what God wants or needs for us to do. This is why there is the Word of God and His Spirit. The Holy Spirit through His anointing guides us in all our ways to not go astray from the path of righteousness laid before us. Being supernatural beings is the best part of being a believer. You have the ability to create, to see and know because you are constantly connected to Abba Father in Heaven by His Spirit because of what Jesus did on the cross of Calvary. That means our lives are far from boring, they are filled with adventure, sometimes betrayal from those you thought were with you, but never defeat.
The School of the Supernatural is meant to guide you in the “Knowing” of the things present or things to come only through Jesus Christ. We don’t use crystal balls, tarot cards, chakra, Tibetan bowls or special charms and crystals. No Yoga or Gurus needed here, only the Holy Spirit of the Living God of Israel. It is the ability to activate your spiritual senses, especially sight. The Lord God has given us so many tools at our disposal in this time. My favorite to use is books. I love to read when it is interesting to me, and I am always learning about how God designed us to communicate with him on a daily basis. There are several authors I can recommend but some that stand out concerning warnings about false prophets or witches that infiltrate themselves as believers into the church are: Patricia King – EXPOSED, Witchcraft in the Church and Ryan LeStrange – Exposing Witchcraft in the Prophetic e-book, and lastly Rick Joyner’s – Overcoming Witchcraft.
I believe the office of a prophet is alive and well and we need them to help understand the things the world cannot. Its not religion, or traditions of man but a relationship with a true friend, Jesus! He protects, guides and teaches through the Holy Spirit and allows us to use his angels as brothers at arms in the battle against sin and death. In these last 20 years I have had the privilege to have been a part of some radical Holy Spirit filled movements that slowly but surely helped make who I am today. As a prophet, my job is not to have people serve me but that I would honor my King in serving people. I rather teach people to learn to connect with Holy Spirit than me being the middle man, that’s just too much attention focused on me and I refuse to be anyone’s resource, that’s Holy Spirit’s job!
One thing I can tell you, I wanted to learn, I desired to know more, I was hungry! Yes, at first all prophets become a bit cocky of course, especially when you realize you got 10 out of 12 prophetic words right! However, just as a child crawls before they walk and then runs, we must learn the Kingdom of God is as a mustard seed concerning the prophetic mantles. There are processes God follows and he won’t give in to your demands until he first breaks you. Only then you become ready to be used by him because you understand that the mantle of humility is the highest covering you can have as a prophet. It keeps you grounded and rooted in Jesus Christ, His Word and Way, and not in your own selfish ways and delusions of grandeur. Not all who think they are prophets, actually are.
If you want to know more about the prophetic, training, books and how to connect with the Spirit of God, come to the school and I’ll tell you. My only desire is to teach you the Word of God that you can grow into a true disciple of Jesus, wanting only to bring him Glory while you dive deep into a universe of endless possibilities as a Supernatural Son of God!
What do you get when you have read and written too much, combined that with a lack of sleep and eating on the go? You got it! Writer’s block. It’s that nasty thing we author’s can get when you know you have something important to say, but can’t put it on paper. It’s funny because in that same way authors can get writer’s block, believers can get “faith block”. “Is that even a real thing? You made that up!” I can hear you thinking that while scratching your head…
Yes to both, I made that up but it can actually happen. Don’t believe me? Take a look at many prophets who suffered from disillusionment from time to time. What is disillusionment? It is a negative emotional status you can fall into when expectations of the things you wanted, needed or worked hard for don’t come to pass. It can even be triggered when you had expectations of people and they let you down, time and time again. That “over and over” trauma can create an instability to believe what you are feeling is actually real and greater than God and His Word.
Did you just say “But I’d never think that way…”, I beg to differ with you. You see, the Bible states clearly in Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” This means the days you fall into disillusionment, depression, anxiety or stress, you are not having faith, hence you may have “faith block” and need to step back and take out some time to walk away from your thought process. The only one that lies to us about God is the enemy. He bombards our head with “garbaggy” thinking, or as Joyce Meyer says “Stinking thinking”. Garbage in, garbage out!
Bill Johnson in his book “Hosting the Presence” teaches that if we believe the lie, we empower the liar. What is the lie? That God doesn’t hear your prayer, He has forgotten you, He is unfair and life simply sucks. Why serve a God that doesn’t care?”. All of those scenarios and many more are very much real in our heads but they are all lies! When we expect God to do something we want, need or think best for ourselves we build up false expectations. The truth of the matter is that we might have set up those castles in our minds without asking Him what He thought. No, don’t roll your eyes, you know it’s true. Many people simply go about their lives asking everyone for advice, except approaching God and seeing what He thinks.
We seem to forget He is who knows best and guides us through many ways: His Word, sermons, radio programs and blogs. He can talk to us when we switch on the television, He can use a neighbor or a phone call. Don’t worry, He does really care but are we trying to avoid Him because we actually know He won’t be giving us the answer we want to hear? Ouch! That hurt…
The point is writer’s block happens when the author is going through something that won’t let the creative juices flow. It’s like the problem at hand is so mesmerizing, you can’t focus or allow yourself to relax. In the same way, unbelief creates anxiety because you want to control the situation and you’re seeing the answer isn’t coming as fast as you’d like or in the package you’d like so stress grows to the point you start to blame God for something He really didn’t create, you might have just opened that door yourself and let the devil in.
Now, I’m not talking about trials that come and take the wind out of you to where you didn’t expect or had any influence on. That is a topic for another day. I’m talking about neglecting your walk with God and then turning around and wondering why all hell has broke loose. Many prophets of the Bible went through stages of this too, but God brought every single one of them out of their situation, every time! He can’t be defeated or has known failure. (More here) If this is you today, you are feeling emotionally unstable, negative or even a bit toxic maybe its time to stop being in denial of the issues and think about what’s really going on. Are you spending time with the Lord? Have you lost your first love? Where is your flame or your passion now focused on? How did you get there? Where was it that you lost hope? What made you walk away from the Lord? These are just some of the questions you need to start asking yourself if you want to regain hope, renew your spirit and turn your engine back on. Don’t allow the enemy that much power, go for a walk, drink some tea or do something you love while talking to Holy Spirit about your “faith block”. You’ll be glad you did!
It might sound like you are stating an oxymoron by saying those two words in a sentence but the truth of the matter is that this is actually a theory I am studying this week. To my surprise the theory was started, no, not by Jesus although He is the rightful role model, but was made famous by Robert Greenleaf in 1977 in his writings “Servant leadership: A journey into the nature of legitimate power and greatness”. He taught that the servant leader starts off wanting to serve before he takes the place of leading, therefore always has the other person’s interest over their own. It is a virtue based philosophy and practice of leadership. It’s focal point is based on relationships and how they can convince others to do the same without an authoritative approach towards another individual. They model what they preach, now that’s a switch.
When contemplating the reality of that statement, one thinks of how wonderful life would be if everyone didn’t think solely of themselves and actually wanted to help their neighbor. Isn’t that what Jesus told us? Love your neighbor as yourself? This is the opposite of what we see when we look at the media, whether it be news or social platforms. It’s so sad that only three decades ago the Berlin wall was coming down yet it seemed like the whole world was rejoicing at the fall of division that held so many captives for so long. Yet today, in the very America that we the people have lived and thrived there is such a heavy cloud of hate for human kind. It can be staggering to the mind thinking how low we have fallen.
However, if we look at the Holy Scriptures, we should not be surprised as to 1 John clearly has several writings that clarify this point:
1 John 3:4-6 “Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.”
“What does it mean to not sin? That’s impossible” you might be saying, but I disagree. In the same way you don’t wake up every morning and say “I’m going to cheat on my spouse, hurray!” if you love them dearly because you know that this act will destroy your marriage, you wouldn’t do something that will hurt you both on purpose. Just like you wouldn’t steal candy from a child and then eat it in front of them and laugh while walking away, because that’s just cruel and traumatizing to the child. In that same manner we have free will to choose not to sin. People don’t have to act like savages in protests, they choose to. People don’t have to kill, steal and destroy, they choose to. I’m sorry but the devil made me do it is way to easy for these persons to cop out on. The reality is they are living in lawlessness because sin is lawlessness. When you can bring yourself to willingly sin knowing well the consequences and still go and do it anyway, then you deserve the outcome of justice. Not just any justice but God’s justice.
The maker of Heaven and Earth is a just God. The Bible states that:
Luke 18:7 now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them?
Therefore it is a fact that a servant leader will always put themselves before others, they place the calling that God has on their life to train others for Kingdom purposes without any hidden agendas or delusions of grandeur about them. This is what Jesus himself did as He walked the Earth 2000 years ago. I believe we have lost our way if we cannot see how distorted Christianity has become in the 21st century. The homes are fatherless, the schools are prayerless and then they wonder why I children are falling into indoctrination of socialism within colleges. What about the church? Sleeping? I know that some are, but there is a remnant awaiting for the signal of Messiah to come and let us know what is going on. He still speaks to His children today as much as yesterday, and will continue to speaks forever! We just need to live our lives as role models and start listening for His voice. This is the main skill in the life of a servant leader. It is believed that they listen before they act and how we could benefit from that example.
Too many people today want to lead, but they refuse to serve. They want the lamplight, the best seats, all the attention and they hate to be ignored. How is this leadership qualities? How can arrogance teach anyone anything? The King of kings came down and told his disciples:
Matthew 20: 25-28” But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. 26 Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. 27 And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
We must come together as one nation, under God, indivisible again. We must understand this is a time to serve and not destroy, to love and not hate or fear. God is reminding us all that without Him, this nation will fall to its knees but the righteous are crying out to Him. Are you righteous? Are you a servant leader? I encourage you today to choose whom you will serve because times are hard and it’s not going to get better if you choose to stay home and do nothing. It’s time to take a stand for love and faith and hope! Be the role model the world needs and they will be glad that you did. You might be the only Jesus example they will ever see.
Those of us that walk-in circles of faith know a term we call discernment. It’s one of the gifts God gives you when you receive Jesus as your Savior but in greater measure than any counterfeit may posses, like a psychic or wizard. It is the ability to know beyond what is humanly possible to know. Someone’s hidden inner thoughts, an event before it happens, how the spirit realm is reacting to your presence in the room, to go left instead of right avoiding an accident. I know many of you may think that this is all hogwash and that no such thing exists but I challenge you to learn more about it through the true source, The Scriptures. The most supernatural book written by man but inspired by God. It is full of episodes where regular people knew things. It’s called “A Knowing” in the secular world and they think that anyone who is like that is either wise in their eyes or fruity if they don’t believe.
This is the Spirit and gift of God in me. It lives in me and talks to me everyday as a still small voice. However, it was never as keen as it is now. I turned forty-nine this past March 2020 and I believe there is a maturity with age that allows us to surrender more to Him because we love Him; which in turn, helps us to hear clearly what the Spirit it saying. I am not insinuating that if you are young you can’t walk in discernment, I am simply stating that the more you surrender to Him the higher the discernment level becomes so a child can have a strong gift of discernment simply because of their childlike attitude towards God.
Discernment is what many in the Body of Christ have lost. Not due to common sins only, ones that the Bible denotes clearly like lying, cheating and so on but due to one in particular that pulls us away from Him. It’s the sin of omission. What is that? It is the knowing to do what is right before the Lord and not doing it. Take obedience for example, why is it so hard to obey the Lord when He prompts us to simple tasks? Tasks like forgiving one another, seeing a need in your brother and not helping when you know you can help. Things like ministering to people, maybe visiting them, cleaning their home, folding clothes, doing dishes. Simple things like cooking a meal for the sick or taking them to the doctor.
Why are these things so hard to do sometimes? Is it because we lack time? No, because you know when you really want to do something you literally make the time. Lacking resources? No. I’ve seen people get three jobs when they really want something. Is it because we are involved in so many things and distracted? Perhaps, but I think it is a matter of the condition of your heart. Where is your heart towards the Lord? Does not the Bible say “So Samuel said: “Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams.” 1 Samuel 15:22 Mind you all of the above circles around the example of obedience but I believe this to be a key in understanding why the Body of Christ is where it is today. We need to go back to our first love of Jesus and learn to walk in the Knowing. The more you walk this way, the more you’ll want to never go back to the way you lived: in self-pity, prideful, oblivious to the will of God for your life.
This brings me to my next example: fasting. Why is fasting so hard? Because the flesh hates giving in to the Spirit of God and fasting is the way to understanding and hearing the will of God for you better than any other way. Why do you think Jesus fasted forty days? Was He not the Son of God? (Matt. 16:16) Was He not capable of commanding the armies of Heaven (Matt. 26:53) Did He not submit to even the earthly ceremonies here by being baptized, fulfilling prophecy of Him? (Matt. 3:13-15) So how much more we who are made in His image and are to do His will. We pray it in the “Our Father” all the time: Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. (Luke 11:2-4) Adam’s name means “earth” and C.S. Lewis called humans sons of Adam, and daughters of Eve. Both Adam and Eve in the beginning were named Adam, it was Eve’s sir name in the beginning.
Our enemy the devil wants nothing more than to distract you from walking in obedience, fasting and praying because he knows this brings not only clarity to hear God better but deliverance for tormenting spirits that come because we are not doing what God asks us to.(Mark 9:29) Everyone has a purpose for which they are born and everyone can fulfill their assigned destiny which is the will of God for them, it’s not impossible but the sin of omission is ever present and we succumb to the Pied Piper more than what we should. I am writing to you today to tell you it doesn’t have to be that way if you chose to obey God rather than your flesh. And don’t get me wrong, God is merciful, He is just but He is also Holy and a Consuming Fire and we are supposed to be on the winning team but God will not do everything for you, you must submit to acting by faith on what He is wanting of you. Do you know your purpose? If you don’t there is a scripture that sums it up nicely, it’s called the Great Commission and it was given by Jesus himself before He left to Heaven, you can start here:
Matthew 28:18. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20. teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
We follow Jesus because we love Him, we obey Jesus the Son of God because we honor Him, and we serve others because it is what He did as an example when He walked this Earth. If you try to do these things on your own, you will fail but if you ask Holy Spirit to help you and surrender to God then all things are possible (Matt. 19:26) for you and you will have the knowing you need during these dark times ahead to not just survive but to thrive in the middle of a dying world! Seek ye first the Kingdom my beloved. May the Lord Bless you and keep you this week☺ SHALOM
Sometimes if we go by what we see on the outside, we can miss the importance of things on the inside. Things like old churches, museums, schools. Take these photos for example. What do you see?
Many of you might say: “I don’t see anything…” or “An empty room” but that is not what I see. Here in this place I see “potential”, I see “opportunity” but I also see “fellowship and people laughing again” A place where people will enjoy simple conversations over a warm drink of their choice. I see future colors and decor, I see a canvas I can paint on and display the Glory of the Lord in 3D. The reality is, the rooms are empty but what I see in them trumps the reality that they are empty because I am a Creator, my Father in Heaven’s daughter and as He is so am I. I determine what lens I want to use to judge things: whether a negative or positive. I have the ability to judge from the lesser which is “the room is empty”…but I chose to judge from the greater which is “This will be an amazing coffeehouse!”
As a free independent thinker, I chose the lens by which I look at things but this is also how I view people, always judging from the greater in them. We must view things through the eyes of the Lord and not by what is in front of us or by our present circumstances. In the Bible, we know this as discernment and its prime source of power is through loving one another in the Spirit of the Living God. In today’s world it would seem people deem and judge you based not on love or using the Spirit but on insignificant things such as color, race, religion or ideologies because they cannot use the Spirit because they don’t know Him. What does 1 John 2:3-6 say about this:
3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
When you walk in the Spirit of the Living God, the love of God abides in you and you cannot judge people by what you see, but by what God sees. This is why it is so necessary to know the Word of God which is Jesus is writing. Do you remember what Jesus himself said about seeing? In Matthew 11 it reads how John sent messengers to Jesus because he began to doubt since he was in jail and didn’t understand why Jesus did not come to him and rescue him from his fate. However look especially at versus 6-9, 12, 16-18:
2 And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he [a]sent two of his disciples 3 and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”
4 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: 5 The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”
7 As they departed, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? 8 But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft garments? Indeed, those who wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses. 9 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet. 10 For this is he of whom it is written:
‘Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You.’
11 “Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. 13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14 And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come. 15 He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
16 “But to what shall I liken this generation? It is like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling to their companions, 17 and saying:
‘We played the flute for you, And you did not dance; We mourned to you, And you did not [b]lament.’
18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ 19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look, a glutton and a [c]winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ But wisdom is justified by her [d]children.”
This whole conversation is Jesus, yes, the Prince of Peace himself exposing to the crowd the “Rock of offense” that He was because He spoke truth and was not double minded in His ways. The truth was John was offended because Jesus did not come to him in a moment John thought Jesus would. This was the same John that baptized Jesus, the same John that said he wasn’t worthy to untie the shoelaces of His Lord. Yet we see him in jail and now sending messengers asking if Jesus was the one. John was suffering the violence of the world (v12) and Jesus had to remind John through the messengers that Jesus had healed the sick, blind people saw and indeed Jesus was He. However John allowed his lens to change due to his circumstances and the evil world he lived in. He allowed himself to see Jesus through a corrupted lens because he was in a time of trial. Jesus woke him up by saying “And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.” Then Jesus goes on to compare His present generation to one who craved attention, but He clearly saw through their hardened hearts and corrupted vision.
Beloved, do not allow your eyes to deceive you! Do not allow your trials and circumstances to fog your vision. If we walk by faith and not by sight, if we walk in love and not in fear, we WILL SEE THE GLORY OF GOD! People think that opening a coffeehouse in the middle of hard times is crazy, but God doesn’t see it that way because He is the Creator of the universe. What is impossible for Him to do? I cannot and will not live in fear and stop living because of the present crisis. As children of the Living God we must move forward and allow ourselves to see the good, from a greater perspective, not from the worlds perspective because they do not know Him as we know Him. We know we suffer violence but we have been given a command to take back what has been stolen by force. This is not through violence, no but it is through love, peace and walking in faith that we can endure and transform a generational mindset. Speak life out of your mouth, look through the lens of faith and encourage yourself to walk in love. With God all things are possible…Shalom!
Mark 10: 27 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”
Have you ever had one of those weeks where everything seems to be moving at the speed of light yet you feel like you’re not moving? Have you ever noticed how it is that when the most stressful times in your life come, they are surrounded by hard decisions you never asked for but yet seem to have the responsibility to take? Yeah, you know one of those weeks. That was my world this week yet I am so very thankful for the wondrous mercies that God has for us every morning! With TES Coffeehouse deadline to Grand Opening closing in on us fast, I suddenly realized I am also starting school on the 24th of this month.
With a full time ministry and being a full time student, sometimes we take for granted how busy you can get. We must always step back and manage our time well to avoid burnout and stress. I remembered how it was when back in 2007 when I started my grad school years and worked full time and also studied full time. I was thinking on how I have done that for all my college years that I can remember. It seemed that God created me to work under pressure and not crack. However almost twenty years later, I was asking Him in prayer “Lord, what are you thinking? Do I really have to go back to school? How is it you have commissioned me these two things at the same time?” in an anxious tone of course and not in my head but in my heart. Then I remembered the scriptures that says “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
He whispered to me softly “Haven’t I taken care of you this whole time you’ve been without work? Have you needed anything? Then more scripture came to mind from Matthew 6:
Do Not Worry 25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Those last two scriptures 33 and 34 where what made me truly repent and be humbled that God would pick me because He trusted me with His work. So this means because He chose me, He is the one to help me. He knows I can do nothing on my own. Does not the Word say He will never leave us or forsake us? Let me clarify something that many ministers have forgotten… He didn’t have to chose us, He didn’t have to save us, yet He did! With all our junk, none of us are perfect yet He knew He could give us our assignment with His purpose on this Earth and trust us to complete it not because we wanted men’s approval or accolades, but because we love and honor Him through our obedience and we press on and complete our assignment without looking back because He loved us FIRST. I felt really small as He corrected me, but I still know He does it because He loves me. The Bible is clear when it says “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13
God is not man that He should lie, the only one that lies is the evil one, who is the father of lies. So why was I starting to get anxious? Because just as Peter did fine while he was staring at Jesus walking on the water but no sooner he looked down started to sink, I was fine while God was providing all the donations but started tallying up the cost of a business and started to sink. He told me He didn’t ask me to pay for it, only to believe for it. He told me He wanted me to complete my educational journey not for more burden to me but to alleviate others in the end because they saw I made it. It would give them hope that they too could obey God and make it through. He is constantly showing me there are people watching how we react under pressure, under adversity and when we stay at peace, they loose their minds because they cannot comprehend how we do it. But it is simple, we can do nothing of our own, it is only through JesusChrist that we can make all things possible because we believed Him and said “Yes Lord, here am I, send me”
My prayer for you this week is that you open your eyes and give thanks to the Lord for the honor and privilege it is to preach the Gospel of Good News and to have given you an assignment unique to you and your gifting. We must together stand strong in the Lord and in the power of His might and ask God to give us the ability through His Spirit to complete our tasks; whether it be one or many, that the world may look and see the Glory of the Lord because they knew HE was with us all alone while we walked on the water.
May the Lord bless you and keep you and may He shine His face upon you and be gracious to you and may He give you His PEACE! Amen
TES is short for “The Eagle Speaks” and is a part of our Hispanic passion other than Jesus, which is…coffee! This amazing building was photographed on a night to which I by faith paid the deposit and will soon start an adventure. This adventure was never planned to begin with, but it was placed in my heart as a vision or a beacon of Hope for our city and it’s surrounding communities. It was July 1st when the Lord woke me up and told me “I want a coffeehouse”…I said “a WHAT?!” But I know nothing on running a coffeehouse Lord, what do you mean? and He answered…”You have everything and everyone you need to start a coffeehouse”. Then in my head the vision unfolded, I saw a combination of coffeehouse and training center in one location downtown. Hmmm, I was a bit taken back by what I was seeing but none the less, the vision continued.
I saw my daughter who has worked in Starbucks for over seven years. I saw two missionary friends of ours from the AG (Assemblies of God) who had connections to coffee farmers in Asia. I saw many other people who have believed in The Eagle Speaks and share my heart towards educating and training people. People that work FOR FREE because they believe in teaching people the ways of the Lord. They believe people don’t have to stay in poverty, they can come out. I saw five different ministries represented that all were willing on working as one to get the job done and so the vision ended but not before He said “Do you see? You have everything you need”.
I will admit to being very uncomfortable and dumbfounded by what I had just experienced but what I am about to tell you that came after was even more surprising. It literally blew me out of the water, I knew only God could do it. That very morning The Spirit told me to go and visit my husband’s workplace. I said “who?!” I know for a fact Lord this person will not even understand so why can’t I talk to someone else? He repeated the person’s name and told me he would understand. So I said “Ok Lord” and with an uncomfortable frustrated sigh, I did as I was told.
When I arrived I was so nervous, I felt awkward and silly at the same time. However, I took a deep breath and walked in, asked for the person and they invited me in. My heart at this time was racing, I didn’t know what to expect but I played it out with a big hello and a hug and I felt peace immediately after that. Explaining my newly founded nonprofit to the gentlemen to my surprise…he loved it! He was the first to become an official sponsor and was totally in agreement with the need of somewhere to help people within our community! I was floored with his generosity, I was totally amazed how God used him to show me that all things are possible for those who believe. A Mac Pro, chairs for training and monetary help all came that day. God is so good but there is more. (Mark 9:23) I was so giddy I texted the Board with the good news as I had stated to them before how we needed to start praying and believing and here I was with no faith until the moment I walked into the door of that person’s office.
The following week, I went with our auditor in search for desks based on some new offerings that came in (every dime you sow goes into what we do) and so we traveled to Burlington to a furniture warehouse. I spoke with the lady there and turns out she was a believer. She was so thrilled to hear what we were going to do for the community, she donated over a thousand dollars in furniture! Are you kidding me? Yes! Unbelievable but true. In less than a week, I had the tech I needed, the furniture and the Nonprofit papers needed to start looking for a location. Finally, one night I went on my search and went to the exact location God spoke to my heart to have the coffeehouse, and there it was 30 W Main St for rent. A knot in my throat pounded with excitement and I couldn’t hardly breath thinking how much would this all be so I picked up the phone and left a message. I didn’t think anyone would call back at 9 pm, but he did. Now I knew God was defiantly in this project and there was no way I could deny His hand in all of it. Push comes to shove, I sign the lease this Saturday and am so excited to see what will all this come out to look like on our grand opening day. Everything is going so fast and God supplied even for the location, how can you not believe? It’s not destiny as some would suppose, it’s a divine appointment. Our motto is FLY HIGHER for a reason, and the TES Coffeehouse motto will be “The mission is in each cup”. I will be posting more concerning the development of this coffeehouse, how we reconstruct, develop and create our way to a successful outcome, always allowing His lead to be our guide. May the Lord bless you and keep you Beloved and Shalom ~ Liz
The year 2020 started out as all years do, a Happy New Year party with family and friends, warm hugs and best wishes to all. Then the change with a demonic influence started in the heart of the Red Dragon. We heard it was deadly, saw people on social media dropping like flies on the streets. Panic took over and the F-Virus was born, the most dangerous of all viruses started to emerge from the ashes. Hospitals became battlegrounds and homes became jail cells. As horrific it was, the saddest part is that it came here and took over online platforms as much as media and state laws. Everyone talking about a “new normal”, everyone pointing fingers and ratting out neighbors that wouldn’t comply to the new tyrannical laws being imposed on people in draconian fashion. It was enough to see this but now our faith and free speech was being violated by the erroneous numbers within scientific data and a hidden agenda. This agenda? To censor any information that did not come in alignment with the status quo of the F-Virus or FEAR VIRUS. They started censoring our pages with “Fact Checkers” and erasing our videos with “This content is not available”. Algorithms used to block notifications to people we followed in order for us not to see their recent posts.
However, they did not count on some of us being connected to an all seeing God that created all things and that protects the ones He loves. Who is this God who can dispel the F-Virus with one Word? His name is Jesus Christ. He was in the founding of this nation when none of us were even our families loins. He placed in the hearts and minds of God fearing men the laws of this land for the purpose of creating “One nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all”. But as it is written in the Bible, especially in the book of Judges, we see how man turns so easily away from God our creator and rebels to change that freedom all in the name of “Its for your safety”. No different than what happened to the people of Israel so many times up until the war with Germany and a horrific Holocaust that cost the lives of around six million people.
I took a step back, knowing my history and my Constitution; made myself take a deep breath and asked myself, “How can I continue the work that God has given me online using the internet when so many platforms are censoring content and our belief and even our lifestyle?” Then I remembered the scriptures in 1 John 3:13 “Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you.” He brought this scripture to my mind as well: Matthew 5:11-13 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” It hit me, the status quo has the agenda to eliminate the Biblical Godhead from our nation in anyway possible. So He then whispered in my ear, “Remember your website? Post there from now on. Your lessons, rants, Zoom lessons and more…”
That stated I am officially launching my website August 2020, re-vamped and more informational including the embedded YouTube channel and ZOOM.us to be my main sources or outlets. I am also excited about our new blogger authors coming on board within The Eagles Academy TAB. Each blogger has a topic they will abound on and you can subscribe to get notifications on new blogs coming out each week.
Concerning commenting, you are all more than welcome to come and read, learn or vent a while. All positive and respectful comments will be left here, but all inappropriate comments, bots and trolls will be deleted. I welcome debates as long as they stay intelligent, respectful of or faith, but also acknowledging the commentator must be willing on pondering what is stated before their allegations are made. You cannot cut a man’s nose off and then expect him to smell the rose you hand to him later~Ravi Zacharias. I expect you understand as a person writing comments that all view points must have a reference point, ours is the Bible and our faith in Jesus Christ. I have seen too much in the Supernatural to be numb to Him and His sacrifice for us on the cross. We will be writing more on this but in the meantime we are here to stay and will be until His Kingdom Comes.
May the Lord bless you and keep you Beloved and Shalom ~ Liz
